- The purpose of this (Beyond the Bamboo Curtain) blog is for the posting of photographs, thoughts and reflections of, about and during our brief vacation trip to China in August and September of 2009. It is not intended to be a diary or a daily journal, but rather, a compilation of thoughts and experiences.
